Requesting A Tour:

Loewen offers educational tours through our office and Lean manufacturing facility in Steinbach. All tours should be arranged at least 48 hours in advance with the Human Resources department. For further information on tours or to book a tour please call 346-5627.

Please Note: Loewen’s safety policy requires all visitors and staff entering the manufacturing facility to be at least 16 years old and to wear closed toe shoes/heels.

Co-op and Work Experience:

Loewen participates in a variety of co-op and work experience programs and is always open to exploring new partnerships with educational institutions. We’ve had many success stories of students continuing on from co-op or work experience programs to becoming valuable members of the Loewen team.

Philanthropy 101:

The C.P. Loewen Family Foundation believes that students and young people are the building blocks of tomorrow’s society. The Philanthropy 101 program was started in 2002 with four High Schools in S.E. Manitoba. Much effort is expended to train students in the skills required to make a living and learn trades and professions. This is vital, however it is our belief that philanthropy is also a key component of a healthy society and world. Philanthropy 101 teaches the basics to philanthropy to high school students and nurtures a philanthropic attitude through hands-on local grant-making.
