Create a Connection with Loewen Living
March 26, 2008
Loewen is pleased to announce the introduction of Loewen Living, a luxury lifestyle publication featuring recent Loewen residential projects.
The inaugural issue focuses on six projects that are differentiated not only by their geographical location but by their architectural styles as well. Stunning photography, emotive prose and lush descriptions guide the reader through each home with the architect acting as tour guide.
“Loewen Living is an architectural showcase,” says Greg Loeppky, Corporate Marketing Manager. “The purpose of the magazine was to introduce the Loewen brand to prospective homeowners and to give due credit to the talented architects that design with our product.”
The projects are luxurious and unique in their conception: Bali House is inspired by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright and the family’s love of Asia; Laguna House features east-coast aesthetics in sunny California; Spa House combines a functional living space and tranquility; Toronto House brings two families together in an 11,000 sq. ft. space; Alys Beach is a prototype for “new urbanism” and the first fortified community in the United States; and, Fisher House promotes environmental sensibility in the heart of Pittsburgh.
“The magazine grew from its original intent,” says Loeppky. “As the architects told their stories, the project editorial became as powerful and inspirational as the imagery.”
The introduction of Loewen Living to an already extensive collection of literature emphasizes Loewen’s commitment to providing customers with the most comprehensive and inspiring pieces that will fire the imagination and spark creativity. Loewen Living is now available to order through local Loewen dealers or online at www.loewen.com.
For luxury homeowners–and the architects, designers and custom builders who create their dreams–Loewen is the brand that delivers an unrivaled combination of artisanship, experience, and environmental sensibility in an extensive line of Douglas Fir, FSC Douglas Fir, and Mahogany windows and doors.
