Loewen Luxury Windows Nab Exclusive Spot in The New American HomeŽ 2006

STEINBACH, MB -- Loewen has been selected by The New American Home 2006 Taskforce to provide luxury windows and doors for this exclusive Orlando, Florida home.

This is not the first time Loewen has been selected for this prestigious project; in 2004 Loewen was featured in The New American Home in Las Vegas, NV.

“Loewen’s selection as the window of choice for the 2006 New American Home project not only reflects the innovative and luxurious attributes of the Loewen product line, but demonstrates the importance of Loewen providing a comprehensive and consistent service offering. The 2006 selection team cited Loewen's abilities and adeptness in responding to application and certification issues as a key influencing factor. Furthermore, the Loewen dedication to luxury is evident in our ability to provide hurricane protection in windows and doors that are perfectly suited to the elegant design of TNAH 2006. This also weighed heavily in our favor,” said Stephen Segal (Loewen Chief Information Officer).

The New American Home is a “real-world” laboratory demonstrating concepts, materials, designs and construction techniques that can be replicated – in whole or in part – in housing built any place and in any price range. The show home serves as the official showcase house of the annual International Builders’ Show. The National Council of the Housing Industry (NCHI) currently cosponsors the home along with BUILDER Magazine. Since its inception in 1984, The New American Home has the unique distinction of being both a show house and a for-sale product, balancing architectural freedom and the bottom line. It is a collection of ideas for the industry to take away and put into millions of homes across the country each year.

The 2006-show home is being built by Hannigan Homes, Inc. with architectural design by WCI Architecture & Land Planning Inc. and interior design/merchandising is by Saxon-Clark.
