Loewen unveils the Cyprium Collection of hand-wrought windows and doors

Living finishes in copper and bronze

Steinbach, MB – Loewen is excited to announce the launch of the Cyprium Collection, a robust and timeless copper and bronze clad addition to our extensive selection of Douglas Fir and Mahogany windows and doors.

The Cyprium Collection features copper and bronze clad windows and doors that are unique in profile and construction. Artisanal in detail — down to the soldered exterior joints and rich, tactile depth of texture in the thick metal cladding — these hand-wrought living surfaces develop distinct patinas that both adopt and define the individual aesthetic character of the homes to which they belong.

Patinas, the living finishes that cloak copper and bronze with evidence of authenticity, are as unique as their location. A palette of custom patinas is available within the Collection: Natura (unpatinated) and the unique and characteristic Umbra (brown) and Verdigris (green). Treasured as a mark of lasting value, each patina is distinct and ever changing.

Nominal .040” thick copper and bronze is used to craft a cladding of exceptional strength for sash and frame segments as well as for Simulated Divided Lite (SDL) bars. The Collection features a distinctive profile that offers a richly layered appearance and classic sightlines.

This new signature collection from Loewen is available in Awning, Casement, Picture and Specialty Windows and Terrace Doors.
