Naturally, Loewen windows and doors may be used to replace existing units. Take care to salvage parts from the existing windows or doors - interior trim and casings, exterior brickmould, etc. - that you wish to salvage and re-use. Loewen offers many sizes and configurations and custom sizing is available as well. Our wide range of products, shapes, sizes and custom options make it possible to order replacement units that closely resemble your existing windows or doors.

Additionally, Loewen offers a selection of exterior brick mouldings and Loewen Simulated Divided Lites (SDL) are available in a variety of sizes to allow you great design flexibility in matching existing fenestration and trim. Douglas Fir lends itself well to coloration (stain) to match other species such as cherry and oak and may be treated to match lighter species such as pine.

Our large selection of glazing types completes the picture, allowing for your replacement windows to look like the old windows but perform at a high level in terms of thermal resistance, sound attenuation, security, resistance to moisture infiltration and other key factors. Mahogany is also available across the entire Loewen line. Our series of custom Entryways lets you choose the exact species you want (check with your Loewen dealer for species offered).
