We will have a driver waiting for you at the airport when you arrive. They will be parked outside the main airport exit, holding a Loewen sign.

You will be staying at the historic Hotel Fort Garry in downtown Winnipeg at 222 Broadway.

You’ll need closed toe, closed heel walking shoes for our plant tours. These are extensive walking tours in areas where safety is paramount, we provide steel-toe protection but bring your own steel-toe footwear if you wish.

Dress Code for Dinning at the Manitoba Club
Gentlemen are expected to wear business, formal, or smart casual attire, while ladies should wear contemporary attire. Shorts, sandals, and running shoes are not considered appropriate. Denim is generally discouraged but may be tolerated in certain casual areas if it is high-quality, not frayed, torn, or patched.

If your flight has arrived late, or at an unplanned time in general, please call your main contact when you arrive in Winnipeg (contact info is below). If you wish, feel free to arrange a cab or an Uber to take you straight to the Hotel Fort Garry, it’s about a 25 minute drive (we’ll reimburse you for any cab fair). Please DO NOT take any of these measures if your flight arrives on schedule.
